Well I now have my sights set on a Behringer 3000T bass head...one problem though. It runs 300 watts into 4ohms,but my cab is 8ohms...I know I will get less watts, but will it damage my speakers?Sorry for the stupid question.

It won't hurt your cabinet or your speakers. Actually your amp is working harder at 4 ohms than 8, but like SPL said, you will be pushing half the power. Of course unless there is at least a 3 decibel difference in the sound, you won't notice.
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?
Thanks! That means I'll be able to go get my license this week(as I wont have to spend $400+ dollars on a bass head and will have enough for the test!).
