Well I now have my sights set on a Behringer 3000T bass head...one problem though. It runs 300 watts into 4ohms,but my cab is 8ohms...I know I will get less watts, but will it damage my speakers?Sorry for the stupid question.

If i'm not mistaken it will just make your amp work harder to achieve the same volume, so it's the amp that you should be worried about.

It won't hurt your cabinet or your speakers. Actually your amp is working harder at 4 ohms than 8, but like SPL said, you will be pushing half the power. Of course unless there is at least a 3 decibel difference in the sound, you won't notice.
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

Thanks!
That means I'll be able to go get my license this week(as I wont have to spend $400+ dollars on a bass head and will have enough for the test!).
