The 80's were THE decade of metal...hell,I would know,I'm still stuck there.Every innovation in metal and its sub-genres was concieved in the 80's.The best metal records of all time came out that decade...when true metal was untouched and untainted by the sour effect media and money has had on it since.Heavy Shred was king,people rooted for the blazing solo's and quality riffs were first priority.
