Names for guitars are supposed to be personal; use your own brain. Not to sound like a prick, but having us name it basically kills the point of it all.

You can always borrow mine. My main one I affectionately call Bitch

So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

I was looking for suggestions, not demands.

Hairbndrckr has the right idea...Give it an offending curse name such as...
C*nt face,F*ck head,Pen*s breath,An*l squirt...alright thats enough filth.

name it Ebonyheart/Ebonheart or somthing to do with her color and character(black star, lunar sky,..eh whatever)

Later! \m/

i just call mine my baby
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

Okay, I'll answer your question....sheeeesh!

Well, my guitar's color is red (and in the sunlight, it is a magnificent red), so I came up with a few names....

"Ruby"
"Ruby Red"
"Rose"
"Ruby Rose"

etc. The list can go on.

I've only named two of mine, and then only 'cause it just happened. Brand X came from the TV commercials when I was a kid. Any time a company wanted to claim that their product was better than someone else's, they called the other one 'Brand X'. My first Yamaha SBG1000 turned out to be better than the Gibson Les Paul Custom I intended to buy that day in 1984, and it's still the standard I compare anything else to, so the name fits.

Then I found another 1984 SBG1000, so I started calling it 'The Stocker' to differentiate it from 'Brand X'. It's now being modded, too, with a DiMarzio PAF Pro at the neck, and a DiMarzio Tone Zone at the bridge. I expect it will sound noticeably hotter (more sinister?) than Brand X, so I'll call it The Stalker.

I call my Strat Shadow, because it's black. Its a name that seems like it could be both femenine or masculine....it bugs me how some people think guitars should only have girls names. Jerry Garcia had it right when he gave his guitars animal names...Tiger, Aligator and Wolf leave the gender to the imagination. Maybe i should have called my strat Panther...
