Interested in a CHAT NIGHT??

I am looking to try and start up a chat night. We could chat about music or about guitars that we own, pedals, good sights for your interests, settings for paticular sounds...etc...etc..If you are interested as I am about these topics and more; then by all means please let me know so I can get things started. :cool:

How about Sunday nights at 7 or 8pm eastern time? Will this work for you? I can figure up the time zones for the rest of the U.S. but the other side of the world will be a little tricky but I think I can manage it.

you wanna take over the chat? if so, then let me know, for i (the channel owner) have to log in at least once every 40 days to keep the channel active. if u like contact jon. use the same IRC-server and create a room and register it to the server - then jon can alter the applet accordingly - you have to use the same server, for the applet is bound to it (free service of this server) - if you wanna use a different server, you will have to either buy an applet or write one.
other than that it would be nice to have a date for the euroean GT-members aswell. the world isnt all centered around america *LOL*

I didn't know it was so complicated. Who is Jon?? Actually I don't know how to do that stuff. I was just thinking of getting one organized up and see how it goes. Dont know if I really want to take over the chat.

Azrael, If you don't wanna be in charge of chat anymore, I don't mind taking over for ya. I've already taken the liberty of setting up a room for us on the same server as before (irc.ircstorm.net). I have already created the applet for it too, it's an html file. If this goes through, and nobody minds the change, to whom should I email the file? In the meantime if you guys wanna chat, I'll provide a link on this post to use until this all gets straightened out. Let me know what's going on. I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, if so I'll gladly back-off.

you did not have to create an applet - since you created the room on the same server it is ok to just email jon the room-id (eg. #guitar)

What's Jon's email? Is it webmaster@guitartricks.com ?? I think it would be better to use the new applet because there's
some changes to it that have improved connectivity and appearance. The old one is out of date with some faulty lines of code in it.

His new applet thing is a big improvement.
