Think

Screw white hot eyes
deep inside
Quiet the piercing sparks
Bury them in the dark
I won't flip my lid
As you sell your mind to the lowest bid
Life rotted through and through
Bullet like words raining down on you

You think you know
What I'm looking for
You can rest assured
I won't be back for more

Igniting whatI know
Flamethrower here we go
Curling from the heat
Your images retreat
Dashed to smithereens
A rawboned figurine
Of what I thought would stay

Chorus reapeat

Yada yada yada
end

It's about regreting the trust you put in someone and what they have told you after coming to realize to the ultimate hypocrisy of their cunning words and also the reaction spurred by the regret. It's depressing a bit yet so is the truth at times. I'd like to know what you thought of it. It gets a good response when I play it live.

I don't like that "flip my lid" line. Change it. And I don't really like the third verse. It feels uncomfortable...sorry.
I want the bomb
I want the P-funk!

My band is better than yours...

There are only two verses, the middle paragraph is the chorus. Is there anyone else who maybe understands the composition of a song that could give some input. I can take it.
