Heil - Hairbndrckr!
I just got a heil talk box and realised you need a PA for it! Is there anyway to get it working with just the amp head and cabinet? I have an effects loop if that helps! :(

Effects loop aint gonna help you with that. Those talkboxes are some of the trickiest to use. I will see if I can find something to help you though. If I remember correctly (haven't used on since the 80's) I think I used a small combo amp just for the talkbox and a/b'd between my reg amp and that.

You really do need a PA or a second amp. Mine's collecting dust right now for that very reason.
hairbnd: Were you using the second amp to drive the talk box? 'Cause it's power handling isn't that high.

yeah. I just unplugged the speaker and replaced it with the talk box.I never had any problems doing it that way. Like I said it was a SMALL combo amp.
