It's just because I have a friend here in London doing really cool theatrical/musical gigs showcasing typical Bulgarian music and I was asked to jam with them to see if I could get with them with my acoustic guitar... I pretty much LOVE progressive music like Dream Theater and Planet X so odd time signature is no problems, a reason why I love Bulgarian music I guess, but also the fact that a guy like Steve Vai introduced me to all those exotic sounding songs with his last live album made me want to experiment with that friend of mine's band. So if you'd have just a few examples of typical chord progressions, then I could figure out how to jam around these and go from there... :)
