Hey guys
i have a fender princeton 65w that supposedly has reverb..but it doesn't work anymore....

when i first got it, it made a noticeable difference when it was on or off. It actually used to sound like half decent reverb when i first got it. I've had it for about a year now and the reverb isn't even noticeable anymore. i've tried it with it on the off then on again and nothing is different...i've checked to make sure that the cables are plugged into the "reverb box" sorta thing in the back of the amp with the springs in it and everything was fine.. please help :(

If you had a schematic and some spare tubes, you could try swapping out the driver and mixer tubes, but without that, you're pretty much stuck with taking it to a tech. This kind of thing can't be diagnosed accurately over the internet.

Your topic line is a little misleading;

The "Fender Reverb" series is basically amps like "Fender Deluxe Reverb", "Fender Twin Reverb", etc.

your fender PRINCETON amp, however; take it to your local authorized fender repair shop, with your warranty, they'll fix it for free.

Hey lord, I wasn't aware that Fender Princeton amps were run on tubes?

Part of the confusion was due to the existence of a discontinued Princeton line of tube amps (gone long before Incidents Happen was even born) which has aparently been revived as a line of transistor amps.

Ooops! :o
