I gotta know...how often do you guys do it and how long do you last? At practicing guitar that is! I usually do a couple hours a day, but that's every single day, and I've got a life too, you know?
If I could be a solo...I think I'd be Eruption...

in total i play about 6 hours or more, every day
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

For those of us who have jobs *ahem*, I try to squeeze at least 1 hour in per day. Five years ago I could play 6 hours a day...

I play none of those, but I know the drums would help you a lot if you ever joined a band on the guitar and when you write your own songs (that is,if you dont do either already.) Having no knowledge of drums when I started writing my own music I found it hard to know what I wanted for a drum track or to be creative with it. When I listen to music now I try to pay more attention to what the drummer's doing, but if i'd learned to play the drums myself I would have a huge advantage.
