I was wondering if anyone had a story about a time when he found himself in the company of noneother than the dreaded Hankypank himself!
If I could be a solo...I think I'd be Eruption...

All the time. I love the ones that rip out the tapping part to the "One" solo by Metallica or the tapping part of "Eruption" and then get this look, like I'm so good!!!

That always makes me laugh. I always hear people wanking every time I go to the music store. This one guy just kept playing the same blues lick over and over and over and over. It was getting ridiculous.
Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.

Isn't it though? My favorite is that when these hankypanks tap, they don't even change strings! They're lame at being lame! It's magnificent!

I mean this guy played the lick for at LEAST 45 minutes. Who knows how long he was in there before I got there.

OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!!

It's cool if you like a particular lick, but it doesn't need to be repeated for 45 minutes.

And b_hoves, Midwest.

I didn't mean it was bad that people play the tapping part to the "One" solo. I just mean it irks me when people play it then expect others to faint! Like, oh my god, you are soooooo good.

It's a phase that everyone goes through. They learn a challenging guitar part, or so they seem, and suddenly think they are awesome.

Not the case.
