Just getting started in learning guitar on my acoustic, but going to do my best to at least spend 30 minutes a day picking up my instrument. If you have any advise that you would like to pass on, Please feel free to send it my way. again, excited to be here and ready to get callouses on my fingers.  🎸

Welcome

best advice I can offer is be patient and go easy on yourself. Guitar takes a lot of practice and we all learn at our own pace.

Best of luck

Welcome, xgonzalezjr!

We are so glad you are here with us at GuitarTricks!

Your plan to spend 30 minutes a day with your guitar sounds perfect.
Bill offers some very good advice as well, regarding being patient with yourself and the learning process.
When you are learning guitar, you are not just learning to understand new things, but you are learning to DO new things.

Because you are training your fingers and hands to make brand new moves, it’s good to keep in mind that this kind of physical-learning is helped best by frequent repetition (like your half-hour a day plan), as opposed to a once-a-week marathon.

Wishing you all the best, and….have fun!!
