So I finished Fundamentals 1 and 2 and now that I’ve started the Rock Learning Path I’m completely lost. It’s like Anders is going warp speed through the lesson and I’m lost as last years Easter egg. I made it throughout open power chords but now I’m starting a the barre part and it’s just as fast. Are these meant to be watched over and over? I’m not sure what to do! Any insights or tips?

Hey, Jim. That is a common thing, bud. Anything that takes effort is worth learning.

There's a metronome on the site: https://www.guitartricks.com/toolbox

Learn all two or four chords that he's showing you and then break out that metronome. Try cutting a third of the tempo out and strum the barre once per four beats (a whole note). I have similar issues with other lessons. That tip helped me out a bunch. I hope it helps you.

Thanks for reading, and be safe.

Hey Jim,  I'm not doing the Rock course just yet, I'm in the Level 1 Blues course, but I would imagine they are similar as far as lessons and pace.

What I like about this site / system, and I've said it before, you go at your own pace. If you have to slow down the lessons (see the settings to the left of the lesson screen) or watch the same lesson 5 times, so what? You can do that.  There is no time limit and no deadline as to when you need to have the lesson fully learned and you don't need to keep pace with anyone. You just do what works for you.

I think once you find the pace that works for you, the lessons will become easier and you'll get thru them quicker.

Have fun

Lou
