Sure it's fast, loud, and squeely, but, hey, isn't that what electric guitar is all about? Don't get me wrong, I love guitarists like Mike Campbell, Mark Knopfler, and Clapton, but sometimes it's just plain awesome to kick back, relax, and shred. I mean, I can sit and listen to Slash, Van Halen, Rhandy Rhoads and plenty of awesome guitarists tear it up for no apparent reason for hours. Why? Because it rocks. Let's face it, everybody loves to do the Stevie Ray Vaughn thing, but shredding is just as musically valid. It's not noise...IT'S ROCK AND ROLL!!!
If I could be a solo...I think I'd be Eruption...
