I still have a ways to go. This is also a cell phone recording. I need to pick another song to learn this month. The blues level 2 practice is going well overall. I kind of wish it were on more of a rhythm track, but I'm learning timing and some really useful techniques. This metal stuff is my goal, and I feel learning blues is helping me a ton with my overall playing.
I am going to start making at least one video a month public so I can get feedback. Hopefully, it is actionable feedback or at least positive. The other reason is so my family could view the videos.
I have found that recording myself playing has also shed light on what I need to personally work on. Recording is a great tool. Thanks for checking out my video, dudes! Have fun rocking out there.

I think you sound great. I can't offer anything actionable because you are smoother than me.
Here, in comparison is where I am at with parts of Lazy. I probably took guitar up too late I life but I am determined to be able to play this song.
This is now close to 3 months in, so keep up the great work. You are doing very well and are stage capable at this point.
I am going to add to this. Being a Canadian I have to relate everything to hockey and I have used this analogy before. When I played hockey one of the things that was very apparent is there are some players who are smooth and graceful and coordinated and then there are players like myself who were good in the corners but not much else. But still we played the game to the best of our ability and that is the way I view guitar. In reality, I should be sticking to things like George strait, Hank Williams III who I really enjoy and simple strumming. But I do like a challenge and this song is incredibly challenging for me
Thanks, man. I really appreciate your praise. I actually get really excited to see and watch other players, too. I can see and hear how tricky all Lazy can be! Honestly, it sounds great slowed down or at speed. I like it.
It's cool having someone to swap and share progress with. I always enjoy seeing what others are working on.
