Hello everyone

Hi folks,

I just joined around the first of the year. My name is Lou but the GT account is Ozzie744. Just plain Ozzie works too, so if anyone needs to address me, all three work just fine.

I have been playing on and off for too many years to count and would classify myself as an advanced beginner or a beginning intermediate. Took one on one lessons for a couple of years and tried the youtube route but saw an add for GT and checked it out, so glad I did. I like the well thought out lessons, the structure and the available options.

So far, so good. I'm loving the site and the lessons and I'm happy to be here!

we are so glad you are here with us at GuitarTricks. It really is a whole other thing, when it comes to being serious about wanting to become a better guitar player. YouTube one-off’s will show you some cool tips and tricks, but here we believe in the process of learning - step by step. The kind of learning that sticks, and that you can build on, and really grow with.

As I stated, I have been dabbling for quite a few years but what I'm doing now is I have started a square one. I am going thru the Fundamentals section and it is really helping to review all of it. But, it's not only a review, I'm also learning a few things I should have probably already known.
