Spellcheck seems to be broken on my end

I am using a windows p.c. and chrome operating system. When typing in the forum, spell check does not seem to be working. It will highlight a misspelled word, but when I right click on it, it is looking for a url. 

I pathologically cannot spell reccomend, and I seem to type that a lot in these postings.
