Hi Ken

be very slow and deliberate with your fingering. Don’t worry about tempo. Make the chord shape 10 or so times in a row. Take your hand off each time. Don’t worry about tempo. Look for a clean chord. This applies for transitions as well. Just keep switching between the chords slowly and deliberately. Do this exercise often. I keep a guitar right beside my Lazyboy so I can work on things while watching tv. Your chords will improve as will your transition between them over time.

Hi Ken,

You should focus on slow, isolated chord-change drills, especially E7→B7 and A7→B7, using partial B7 shapes to build fluidity before speed; most blues rhythm doesn’t need full chords anyway.

I remember that chord and it caused me the same trouble, then it just started happening.

Good luck with it
