Hello,
I've been with guitar tricks for quite a long time. I've neglected the guitar for long though because I wasn't improving. My fault obviously. Life got in the way. So now I am back and hopefully I can start improving. I've been stuck at the beginner guitarist stage since I was 16. I'm now 42 lol
Hi, Nick I loved your post. Me, too. Been with GT many years. Always ignore it when the weather is nice, so I can play golf and work in the garden. When I get back to it, my fingertips are tender and have to get tough again. What a pain.
You're so young at 42, you have decades to learn and improve. I'm envious (a few months shy of being 79) but also happy to think about someone as young as you taking advantage of the opportunity ahead of you.
Don't kick yourself for straying. You're back now and you'll have a great time learning more. I've gone through the basic, blues, country, etc., courses taught by Anders Mouridsen. You'll love his lessons, approach and personality.
Wishing you all the best in your journey.
