I'd be intermediate level guitarist, understand basics of pentatonic scale but have trouble applying up/down fretboard.

I get lost in a solo and finding my way up/ down into right shapes for different keys.

Lots of lessons around but would love a recommended plan to build skills.

Many thanks.

Graeme

Hey & welcome!

What style do you want to play?  We have courses on Blues, Rock & Country.  In each you'll find chapters on developing your lead guitar skills.  For example:

We have style pages that go into more depth on each of those genres (and more!).  On each page are sections on building your lead guitar playing ideas & skills.

I have a bunch of material on how to develop your improvisation skills.  So, this mostly comes down to what style you want to work on.  If you can be more specific we can point you in the right direction.

Hope that helps!
