I have a new Orangewood acoustic guitar. How do I determine if it's set up correctly for someone new? Specifically, how high above the frets should the strings be? Mine are about 1.4mm from fret to string at the 2nd fret, and about 3mm at the 12th fret. Does this sound OK? Thanks. PS: Is there a way to ask questions like this to the GuitarTricks teachers? I couldn't find one.
