Talk - Box???

how exactly does the talk box work. and where would I be able to get one?
I reckon it'd be fun to experiment with, and if I'm doing Bon Jovi covers it'll be useful, as the great Sambora uses it alot, with great effect.

Oh yeah, and check out how Eddie Van Halen makes his guitar sound like a chain-saw at the start of Poundcake.

You send a feed from your amp into the talk box. The talk box then sends that sound into a plastic tube that gets attached next to a microphone. By holding the tube in your mouth and moving your mouth as if you were talking, you filter the guitar sound coming through the tube in a natural way. This filtered sound then gets picked up by that microphone and that's basically it.
