Well maybe I didn't come thru as I intended, but I didn't mean to be impolite or patronizing, and I apoligize if I came off that way, but I didn't want to throw out a two cent answer and didn't have time to give a good explanation to JD52's questions and I know their is alot of information stored up in the archives, I thought if JD skimmed thru it maybe some of his questions would get answered, and then he could get back and post again if he still had any questions or wanted to follow-up on anything, Axl, don't you think the question " How do tube amps work?" requires more than a couple of short sentences?, I think I've given you some fair answers to some of your questions, and I plan on doing the same with JD52...
