I also struggle with motivation and I've also been playing for a while on and off. This website is packed with great information and lessons and I highly recommend you check out Anders' weekly videos he posts up in Guitar Insider. You can access them under the Features tab. Some of them are hands on practice type but most of them I enjoy with a cup of coffee.

I hope you like this website. Go through Fundamentals 1 & 2 with Anders or Lisa (I picked Anders) even though you might find it very basic. It really does help to know what all is covered there so that you don't have any gaps in your playing. And use the forum to your advantage. There are many great, experienced players here who are willing to help you out with any specific questions. Even questions about motivation will be answered in the Open Discussion. Furthermore, Anders has his own forum section you can explore. I usually go through the forum during work and play when I get home.
