I’m a relatively new guitar player. I’ve decided to give it one more chance. I’ve tried twice before.
Hello from Kansas

Welcome, jpias9319!
So glad to have you here with us from Kansas. Great time to turn your attention to the guitar, with winter on the way, right?
Are you able to identify what got in the way the last 2 times you decided to work on learning guitar? Maybe if you give that some thought, you can come up with a plan for this NEW endeavor that gives you a better shot at sticking with it.
What would help?

Welcome, this is a very common story line. I tried at 10, 17 ... 40 something, then at 57 I decided to make it work.
As Lisa points out, finding the reasons why it didn't work before will help. In my case, it was not understanding how much work was involved matched with unrealistic expectations.
Regular practice and patience have turned the page.
Best of luck.
This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!
