Percussive rhythm instructor?

I began using guitartricks, playing mostly acoustic guitar until a series of hand surgeries made me have to quit. I want to get back into it and try to learn a more percussive, rhythmic style, but have no idea which instructors to check out for this. Could you give me some advice? Thanks! Caren

I think you should Use a metronome to lock in steady time. Work on strumming patterns that include muted beats and body percussion/hand slaps. When you find percussive elements in a lesson, practice them slowly and gradually speed up.
