I've returned to GT after several years away.  I'm an intermediate player mostly interested in acoustic guitar, both strumming and fingerstyle, some 70's classic pop/rock and the blues.   I started playing guitar as a kid and then didn't stick with it over the years. I realize now, many decades later, that I should have continued playing but oh well I've picked up where I left off and have finally started learning some cherished songs of my childhood.

Looking forward to recommitting to learning and connecting with others.

Hi Dani3271!

Welcome back to GuitarTricks! Ha, this morning I embarked on some housecleaning and I asked Siri to play me "70's classic pop/rock"! She's still going at it as we speak, the dishwasher is running, and I danced and sang along through the whole process.

SO many great songs from that era to learn to play, both strumming and fingerpicking.

I hope you have a ton of fun getting your chops back and moving forward with learning new things to play on your guitar that are fun and exciting to you!

Be well - Lisa

Thanks for the warm welcome Lisa.  I'll definitely be checking out more of the song library soon - I've got a few of your lessons on my list, including some by Janis Ian, Cat Stevens, and Jim Croce.  Looking forward!
