Hello, I'm brand new to all of this guitar playing, and I want to be able to play my electric guitar like a pro, but that will take time and effort for me. I'm still going through the basics of rock learning how to play Twinkle, twinkle little star, but I am facing an issue on my end. I'm 6'3" man with long fingers that would have ease playing a Bass, but I wanted a challenge with a 6-string electric guitar, my fingers seam to "stick" to the strings, or they would cramp on one another, preventing me from playing the needed notes. I'm sitting up straight, guitar resting on my right thigh, but not sure I'm holding it right. Any ideas?

Hey & welcome!
What kind of guitar are you using? Can you post a picture of your posture & hands playing guitar? That info would help to figure out any potential problems. You might consider standing or at least wearing a strap. This tutorial covers proper posture & body mechanics.

Having said all that, you might benefit from a guitar with wider string spacing & or long scale length. With that in mind you could go to your local guitar store, explain the problem & try several guitars to see if another one fits your hands better.
Hope that helps!
