I own 4 guitars right now but have owned many in the past and just narrowed my collection to 4. The Martin D-28, everyone's favourite, can't stop saying nice stuff about it. The Gibson, great one. An Ibanez, cool one. And the last is Zager, great instrument.
So you either love Zager or hate Zager, there's no in between. But trust me on this, you love the Zager instrument. I purchased a Zager ZAD900CE, and it's an excellent quality instrument at a reasonable price. I'm getting used to the 25.5-inch scale length, and it works well for strumming, picking, and hybrid picking. The notes are well-balanced across all registers, with a well-defined, authoritative sound that responds well to changes in dynamics. I'm very happy with this guitar and would recommend Zager guitars to anyone looking for a go-to, lifetime acoustic.
