I've tried them before but it's been many years ago. They were ok but I prefer the standard pick shape over them. Get a couple and try them out. You might like them. For me I tended to grip them close to one of the points and I do that with a standard shape pick already.

My brother uses bigger triangle picks. He always tells me about its benefits; Sometime he learns to play the guitar; so he explains about the bigger triangle picks. Their larger size makes them easier to grip; providing better control and reducing slippage while playing/ It can produce a fuller.; richer sound' which is especially useful for strumming.

i have used triangular picks for years.  I like the increased grip, but what I like more is that every corner is a shaped the same.  This allows for quick recovery if the pick does slip.
