Guitar tab symbols can be a bit convoluted. While the simple finger/fret numbers can be super helpful when just starting out, once you get to more complicated guitar music, more advanced guitar tab symbols can make learning more complicated at times. Learning to read standard notation will greatly help once you reach a certain difficulty level.
