New guitar player

Hello my name is Tom. I am an absolute beginner. I’m starting with guitar fundamentals 1 with Lisa. I tried another site but couldn’t switch between g and d chords so I gave up. The lessons here seem manageable. I am left handed and just bought a Yamaha FG 820 I think it’s called acoustic. My goal is to learn country and acoustic folk style music. I want to learn and play the proper way. I have plenty of time and hopefully some patience.

I cancelled and tried truefire but I resigned up here. I’m already able to do simple c and simple g. I’m about to learn the first song. You make music right from the beginning and the lessons aren’t super tough. They build on each other. I feel motivated using guitar tricks.
