How to write a song step by step?

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice, guides or videos on Youtube they recommend that shows how to write a song through each step of the way? I'm talking about how to write an intro then transition that into the verse and then transition that to the chorus, how long each verse or chorus should be, what chords to use in the progression, etc.

I've casually been into guitar and music production for 20 years and know some basic music theory, but don't seem to have a basic grasp on songwriting. I need to learn the basics of songwriting and would appreciate help with this process.
