So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

Post a picture. If you don't have one look on the Peavey website and copy one to post. Make sure it has the same setup as yours does though. There are quite a few ways to do it, but if you are new to it and since you have to buy new strings anyways, I would just take your guitar with you to the music store and ask the sales guy. Contrary to popular belief, you WON'T be the first person in the world to do it, and you certainly won't be the last, so don't be nervous about asking. You will find most smaller music shops to be more helpful because they are the ones that need to build relationships for that "repeat business" thing, unlike the "mega stores". Also he/she will probably also be able to help you pick out the proper guage strings for your guitar so that you won't have to have it reset-up. BTW when you find yourself a set of strings you like, STICK WITH THEM. I've been a GHS string user for 20 odd years. Only with the last set of strings have I tried a different brand. Of course they were the Ernie Ball 5150 set of strings and have since been discontinued. See what changing string brands get you?
