Anyone here a fan of this band? I can't say enough about these guys. Especially in a musical era dominated by trite pop music. I've seen over the years on this forum that Tom Morello isn't a particularly popular guitarist here. Mostly because a lot of people don't like all the weird effects he uses, but he definately has my vote as a great innovator. Simply put the guy has a knack for making sweet riffs. And Chris Cornell, man does that guy have an awesome set of pipes on him. I'd love to play guitar in a band with a lead singer like that. If you've only heard the three songs they've released singles for, "Cochise", "Like a Stone", and "Show me how to live", I'd like to recommend you check out two different songs off of their album: "Shadow on the Sun", and "I am the highway". Lemme know what you guys you think.

My sentaments exactly. Audioslave has been one of the bright talents in the past couple years in a sea of old talents fadeding fast...i.e. metallica, peral jam, etc. deffently audioslave is something to look foward to if they can stay together!

I have Audioslave's cd and i must say i am very impressed...i woudlnt have expected Chris Cornell to be able to follow up Soundgarden but he did pretty well...I hate it when people say they dont like audioslave just becaus ethey didnt like the song 'Like A Stone' because they still havent really heard the true audioslave...my fav songs by them are Cochise, Shadow On The Sun, and Exploder

Audioslave is defentley one the best bands around on these days.
I dont like all the stuff from their album, but some songs there are really good. The whole combination of morello's 70's oriented guitar sound and cornells singing which tends to sound a bit like robert plant is really cool.

They are one of the best bands out there today!
They have songs that rock(Cochise, Show me How to Live)and songs that are soft and ballady.(Like a Stone)
They have the great guitar riffs and of coarse the vocals of a livin' legend. It's good that they're agknoledged on this site.

i'd have to agree with Zeppelin, when i heard their first single(in Australia) it defenitly reminded me of 'Zeppelin'
