Hey, you're pretty talented. Good job, the Body and Soul sounds quite good, and the Bach is quite impressive as well. Do you have any tracks with you and your band?
"You must stab him in the heart with the Bone Saber of Zumacalis... well, you could stab him in the head or the lungs, too... and the saber, it probably doesn't have to be bone, just anything sharp lying around the house... you could poke him with a pillow and kill him."

There is one realy old recording (two years) in FOol-X > MP3 section ("So What"), but now we're recording new songs and perhaps some will be accessible in september.

I was influenced by Polish guitar player Partyzant. He has one of greatest sound (tone) with touch technique I have ever heard (There will be some resources about him at my page soon). I started work at technique then, after few years I have heard S. Jordan stuff. It is OK, but didn't impressed me, so S. Jordan wasn't my influence. Later (3 years ago) I first have heard about stick and warr guitars. I think it is OK, but I had my own conception (I had specification of my new doublenecked guitar earlier). Stick is quite different instrument, it doesn't sound like guitar, I thought about stick buying, but I decided stay playing guitar. I listen sometimes stick-players but I don't know if there is some stick player as great as Davis, Coltrane, Metheny or Parker was. So I listen to those masters, no tap players. I have heard that F. Jolliffe plays quite good, but I haven't heard this stuff yet.

agree, probably You're talking about Guilemo Cides (he recorded first and only tap CD with Bach tunes).
There is possibility to place in my guitar MIDI pickups, I'll think about it in the future.

I don't know what to say - I have never played stick nor warr. For me sticks and warrs are expensive - cheap guitar You can buy for 100 USD, cheap stick for 1100, but remember - You would need two amps, special strings, case or something, so You'll probably need about 1600 USD. I saw cheaper form of tap-instruments at Mobius Megatar, but still they are expensive to me.
MIDI pickup and module is very expansive.

Stick has stereo cord (jack input) so if You buy new stick You recive also stereo cable. You can use mixer (I don't know if stick also can work in MONO mode, but always You can use small mixer). Besides stick has great Bass and poor treble - so it's better to use bass amp - not guitar amp.
I dislike if somebody uses stick sounding like TWO instruments. I like a piano idea of the stick. Now stick is an underground instrument - it would need "Chopin of stick" - a great virtuoso and stick composer, who made stick nice for all (not only for tappers) to hear. So it is Your chance :)

In my opinion any touch guitar no need any special features. Bach Invention I've recorded - was played on cheap 6-string electric guitar for 500 USD and it sounds OK. I use also fat strings (E from 0.011). Alway tappers says, that they use thin strings (ex. from 0.009).
# 15
but are the strings close to the fret board? ive tried tappin on a clean channel and could hear the taps very well

I use standard string action, like I used when I was a shredder.
