i guess dis must sound awful but: whats the difference nbetween a baritone and a normal say guitar.?

a baritone guitar is normally tuned down by a 5th (each string) plus it has - for that purpose - a longer neck. so you can say a baritone guitar is between guitar and bass - it has a very rich and powerfull sound. there are also some baritones tuned down by an octave, but its more common to tune it down by a fifth

To put it simply, the bottom 6 strings of a seven string sound like a baritone :)
