I have a chance to grab this acoustic for $500(canadian). Good deal? Does anyone know how much this guitar sold for in the 70's? Or how much it would be worth now?

Someone call the police, I'm not sure what the mid 70's price was, but I'm almost willing to bet it was more than you just paid, and in today's market you can't even smell one for that price, sharp buy!............... Today's price, depending on type of finish, wood and condition probably in the $1500USD neighborhood, maybe even $2500+ given it was one of the rarer models, good luck.......

I didn't get it, it was sold before I was able to call.
