Newbie tips!

Hello, Brand new here and been through some great beginner lessons and loving the tips....any sage advice for a starter?

I’d chime in with jumping into the “Beginner” section and following the Fundamentals courses pretty much straight through.  You’ll come out of that with the ability to branch out in pretty much any direction you desire.

Hey Mck, and welcome!

Good advice from your comrades here - just to let you know there are actually 2 Beginners Courses on Guitar Tricks.

One is taught by Anders Mouridsen.

The other is taught be me, Lisa McCormick.

Both are highly rated by students, and both will take you from the very beginning, all the way through to having solid fundamental skills on the guitar.

Some folks find one or the other of the courses to be a better fit, based on the fact of Anders and myself each having our own teaching style. 

I'd recommend either one - just wanted you to know there are 2 to choose from!
