JIMI HENDRIX
My amplifier has a problem.
My amp keeps getting a very bad static and bow-wow type sound and I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with it.

uhhh... there's a dog trapped in your amp?
Seriously, nobody is going to be able to troubleshoot an amp without a lot more detail about when these sounds occur, how long they last, what you're doing with the amp when it happens, what the amp is plugged into, what's plugged into the amp, etc, etc, etc,...
And after a few tries, someone (probably me) will suggest that you really should take it in to a good tech, because there's no substitute for hands-on experience.
I'm sorry, I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but it is what you need to know.

IF you have any electronic equipment on near the amp it will create a buzz in your amp. One time when I was playing outside I got a radio station playing on my am.
