Im going to have some pennys pretty soon, so im trying to get some kind of idea of what im going to save up for.

A new guitar
A half stack
Pedals/Multieffects.
Good books to learn from.

For the guitar I want something that I will be able to play anything on although i want to have a full sounding guitar for when I start playing shows(mostly metal/hard rock) and dosent look horrible, can anyone give me some input on the higher end Kramer guitars? i hear good things about the cheap ones but what about the high end ones?

For the Amp I want something again that has a full sound, I want something that sounds nice clean and has a nice gain on it also, if the gain sucks mabye some decent pedals if you know any.

Pedals, here it dosent really matter, mabye name off some of your favs and the sound they give you.

Books, anything worth getting, books that helped you alot. ive read quiet a few and most of them sucked. so any good books would be appericated.

thats quiet a bit, but any info helps, Thanks to everyone in advance.

I have no experience with this guitar but...
The Kramer Voyager looks totally sick.THREE HUMBUCKERS!!!
I havnt seen it on musicyo for a while but it would be worth looking into.
Also take a peek at Rhino amps.Again I havnt tried there products, but Yngwie has a signiture model that he tours with I guess.

What good is 3 humbuckers going to do if you cant use them all at the same time? hehhe, although it would look cool.

Why wouldnt you be able to use all three pups?
I'd assume theres a mega pup selector of some sort.
They had better do somthing!

The 3rd humbucker should not in your primary reasoning for getting a certain guitar. Literally any guitar can be set up for 3 humbuckers...The trick is to find the guitar you like (which will probably have 2), and get the third one installed. Takes more work, but that way, you have a guitar that you love (and loved with 2 humbuckers, or 3 s/c, or any combination), and when you install (or have installed) 3 Humbuckers, its like an added bonus.

Remember, electronics can only do so much; Kramer is known to be pretty good with their models, but before you buy the guitar, think to yourself..."Would I buy this guitar if it only had 2 humbuckers and not three?" if the answer is "No", then you need to find yourself a different guitar.

My brother's got a Voyager - got it back in like 88 or 89.

Effects - I have a Boss Gt-6 and that frigging thing rocks! Got all the effects you need and good control of them as well.

Amps - you don't neccessarily need a half - there are some good combos out there too - like the guitar, get what sounds good - remember a good combo can keep up with drums and if you're playing out odds are you'll be going thru a PA so volume won't be much of an issue.

Books, etc. - again, whatever you might be interested in, lots of tabs on the net to mess with (a lot of lesson stuff right here on this site) - I would say find someone to jam with, that helps more than you night know.
