H-S-H is a popular configuration , but you''ll finally end up using only the bridge & neck pickups (I maily use my middle S to rest my fingers on it !!).
You may like to consider getting a guitar with only two H's , and having more control buttons, like 2 vol knobs (one for each pickup instead of one master for all).
