i was in guitar center the other day and they had a zeppelin video playing. then this employee comes up to me and says "dude, you look like Jimmy Page"

To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

I look like David Grohl...seriously,and I dont mean similar,I look almost just like him.
Not somthing I'm exactly proud of,but my friends and even random strangers get a kick out of it.I also easily pass as any member of Carcass,Decapitated and most black metal band members.Must be the long black hair and leather.

Once, as a teenager, I had been practicing with my tascam 4 track during the whole afternoon. My mom walked in my room while I was listening to some Yngwie for inspiration, and she said "nice tune you wrote"...
Well, to my mom, I sounded like Yngwie!!!
Wait... Was that a compliment? errrrr....

maybe the term "grizzled veteran" has a more significant meaning for you
