Alright i wasn't going to wiegh in on this but...ah wha tthe heck...I recently saw the Yardbirds. Jimmy Page used to be with the Yardbirds as i'm sure you all know. The Yardbirds did the song "Train Kept A Rollin'". As they introduced the song they made a point of the fact that Page took the song from them. OK, i did very little research on that song and aparently Aerosmith did that song too. And Guns & Roses. Heres the interesting part. It wasn't the Yardbirds song in the first place. In 1956, Johnny Burnette and the Rock ānā Roll Trio released that song with slightly different lyrics and i'm not even sure his was original. So the question comes down to who plaigerized who.

"You Shook Me" is a blues song written by Willie Dixon and J. B. Lenoir. Earl Hooker first recorded it as an instrumental which was then overdubbed with vocals by Muddy Waters in 1962. It was later recorded by various rock musicians, including Jeff Beck on his album Truth, and most famously by Led Zeppelin on their debut album. Who plaigerized who. Willie Dixon didn't sue Muddy Waters for using his song but since Zep used it and made it world-famous Willie sued them and won.
