weird thing with strings please help!

Hi, I got my first guitar recently at guitar center (it was a pretty cheap $220 dollar schecter). I'm sort of a newbie, so this all could be normal, but my strings seemed really weird. The D and A strings, and even the low E maybe, are easier to bend and looser than the higher strings. It takes effort just to fret the notes on those strings without them sliding around under your finger and bending. I don't think my action is extremely high either. Even at like the first few frets, where bending the higher 3 strings is very hard, I can easily bend the D or A string till it hits the next string over and then some. I can do this on the first fret!! So this just seems weird to me so if anyone can tell me if this is normal or if I need to get different strings or change some setting on my guitar I'd appreciate it.

Was the guitar used before?

hmm... 'sounds normal to me...

- check your tuning. If the lower strings are dropped below standard pitch, they'll feel loose.

- fresh strings may help. The plain strings can get kinda stiff compared to the wound strings.
