Our own Raskolnikov has a Sunn 1200s 1200 Watt amp, and I think the Ampeg SVT4-Pro is rated for 1000+ in bridged mono.
These are transistor amps. I think the ultimate doombringer tube amp is still the old Ampeg SVT, very conservatively rated at 300 Watts.

that in connection with the Glockenklang Bugatti poweramp is probably the most High-End thing there is for Bass - and the sound is beyond imagination.
