If you've been looking at them then you know the GT6 is a floor based unit that has midi connection capability (as with the VG-88).
The GT6 is indeed a self contained foot board in and of itself but one nice thing is you can program it to go into a manual mode giving you the ability to turn on/off specific effects within a programed/saved user patch.
