The Shure SM57. One of the best universal mics out there and I think it retails around 80 bux. You can use this mic for just about anything, vocals, guitar, drums, whatever. It's widely used as a studio mic, I know gwen stefani of No Doubt used it on her studio vocals as do many others. Bottomline this is a great mic and you'll love it.
