Man I can only imagine playing on a .012 high E. Hell I don't think my B string is that. I think it's .011.
Well if you REALLY wanna play on those power cables... You gotta set your guitar up for it. Regardless if it is a Tremelo, hardtail, or string through. Reason for that is the heavier the guage string, the more tension on the neck. Thusly, more neck bow. You will almost definitely need a truss rod adjustment as well as possibly adding a spring to your Floyd.
So if you REALLY wanna go there, seek out a good tech. Get references. Don't just let any hack get to your instrument.
