I need your help

Hey, whats up everybody? I have a Marshall AVT150 half stack and i need advice on a good distortion tone I could possibly get. The clean sounds great but the distortion needs work. I usually play metal/ fast punk type stuff. Right now it sounds kind of muddy and I cant really hear all the notes I play in solos with my band. Most of the solos are fast shred type things so i really need a better sound or else it doesnt matter what i can do. Right now im on OD2 without the scoop on with the bass at 4, mid at 6, and treble at 9. There is also a presence nob and i have that at about 7 or 8. Maybe you guys could tell me what settings you have on your amps so i can try em over here. Thanks alot in advance for any ideas.
