I have been playing for almost a year, and I have outgrown my 15 watt practice amp. I have been looking at several different amps. My band plays alt./rock style music (but nothing real heavy), so I want an amp with good crunch and distortion. I am looking for the sound similar to Better Than Ezra, Third Eye Blind, matchbox twenty, Vertical Horizon, etc. I have looked at a Marshall Valvestate 65w, Fender Princeton 65, Line 6 spider, and even a Vox. I need help want to see what ya'll reccommend. Thanks

I played on valvestates lots of times and they are a very good sounding amp and i think good value to, apart from that i can't tell you much about the others, sorry.

I just picked up a Peavey Bandit 112 for $630(CDN).

And compared to most of the other amps ive played I find it to be very versatile, which is probably why its Peaveys top selling amp.
